Chairman and CEO Lee Soo-hoon is giving a speech expressing his gratitude to the employees and partner companies who participated in the construction of the requalification center.
[Gas Newspaper/Reporter Sang-yeol Han] Asia's largest tube trailer requalification center opened in Wanju, Jeollabuk-do,
drawing attention from the domestic hydrogen and special gas industries.
DUKSAN AETHER CT(CEO WEE Ho Sun and Lee Su-hoon), a specialized manufacturer of ultra-large high-pressure gas tubes, held a completion ceremony on the 27th for construction on a 29,950㎡(approximately 6,362 py) site in the 2nd Industrial Complex of Wanju Techno Valley in Bongdong-eup, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do. Construction began in June of last year and was completed in just 8 months.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Lee Soo-hoon said, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the employees and partners who participated in building Asia’s largest high-pressure gas tubes requalification center so sturdy,” and emphasized, “We will continue to provide the best service to domestic and international customers, from manufacturing of ultra-large high-pressure tubes to requalification.”
By investing a total of 24 billion won to complete the high-pressure vessel requalification facility, we have secured the largest production capacity in Asia,
capable of re-inspecting up to 40 tube trailers per month.
It is significant that we have the latest automated facilities that can handle everything from vessel requalification to skid reprocessing such as shorts and repainting,
and that we can process the entire process in one go without outsourcing.
Wee Ho Sun, DUKSAN AETHER CT CEO emphasizes that he will create standards for tube trailer requalifcation.
DUKSAN AETHER CT CEO Wee Ho Sun said, “The newly completed Wanju plant aims to go beyond a simple maintenance facility and provide a standard for high-pressure vessel requalification to domestic and international customers,” adding, “In particular, for tube trailers for semiconductor special gases, barrel polishing can be performed upon request from customers, and we plan to introduce new inspection techniques such as acoustic testing in the future.”
In addition, by deploying professional personnel, the requalification period, which previously took several months, was shortened to less than one month, which is expected to greatly increase the operational efficiency of the customer's containers and contribute to increased sales due to gas supply. In addition, the company officials explained that since it is located in Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, which has excellent accessibility to customers nationwide, it can reduce transportation costs for customers, and orders have been pouring in even before the plant is put into operation.
We have also obtained global certifications such as KGS, DOT, and IMDG for various ultra-large high-pressure gas containers and accessories, including tube trailers for hydrogen, industrial gases, and semiconductor specialty gases, and Y-ton cylinders.
In addition, we have equipped the facility to polish the inside of the container and wash it, so that we can maintain the same level of quality (3S-grade inside treatment) as newly manufactured containers.
In addition, by introducing an eco-friendly automatic powder coating system, we have secured excellent quality and durability and can effectively respond to global environmental regulations.
Meanwhile, this company is the only large-scale gas tube manufacturing company in Korea that can simultaneously produce Type I and Type IV based on the ultra-high pressure tube manufacturing technology accumulated over the past 30 years. It boasts outstanding technological prowess, including 6 overseas patents and 20 domestic patents,
based on quality and technological prowess with global competitiveness.
