AETHER CT supplies hydrogen trailers for the operation of hydrogen charging stations for commercial vehicles to Lion Energy, an Australian hydrogen charging station operating company.
Lion Energy plans to build and operate a total of 50 hydrogen charging stations for buses in Queensland by 2032.
It plans to start operating hydrogen transportation and charging stations for commercial vehicles.
The tube trailer supply contract with Lion Energy was announced through Fueltech, an Australian refueling package specialist, and the contract includes a compressor, storage bank, dispenser and two tube trailers.
The package is scheduled for delivery in September 2023.
This is Australia's first commercial vehicle hydrogen charging station launch project, announcing the beginning of Australia's green hydrogen era,
and it is significant that AETHER CT's hydrogen tube trailer is supplied for the first time to operate a hydrogen charging station for commercial vehicles in Australia.

Lion Energy Limited ('Lion Energy') is pleased to announce that it has signed a General Equipment and Procurement Agreement.
On March 3, 2023, Australian Fueltech Hydrogen Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to as 'Fueltech') and New Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to as 'PoB') signed a contract
to supply refueling packages and tube trailers for a green hydrogen hub site (hereinafter referred to as 'GEPA'), agreement was announced.
This package is a key component geared towards Heavy Mobility, with a focus on public bus fleet operation.

Lion Energy has been awarded a US$1.8 million refueling and tube trailer package procurement contract from Fueltech.
The equipment includes a compressor, storage bank, dispenser and two tube trailers, and the package is scheduled for delivery in September 2023.
The equipment is planned to be built as a system that enables zero-emission hydrogen buses to be refueled within 10 minutes based on continuous charging.
Lion Energy has been working closely with the bus industry on specific issues, such as the green hydrogen for industry strategy announced for 2022, and the need for refueling reliability and charging speed to a greater extent.
