Duksan Etherct, a mega-sized high-pressure vessel manufacturing company under the Duksan Group, announced on the 15th that it successfully concluded its participation in the '2026 China Hangzhou International Industrial Gases Exhibition (IG China 2026)', held from the 9th to the 11th at the Hangzhou International Expo Center in Zhejiang Province, China.

Starting with the production of mega-sized vessels in 1992, Duksan Etherct has proven its unrivaled technological prowess as the only company in South Korea to manufacture 'Type 1' transport and storage vessels with both internal and external metallic structures. Recently, the company completed the development of a state-of-the-art 'Type 4' hydrogen vessel. By composite-applying carbon fiber and plastic, this new model significantly reduces weight while maximizing hydrogen storage capacity, allowing the company to rapidly expand its business scope into the mobility and long-distance transport markets.

At the Hangzhou exhibition, Duksan Etherct captured the attention of global buyers by operating a large-scale exhibition booth that included actual vehicles. In particular, the company demonstrated its overwhelming product competitiveness on-site by showcasing a full-scale MEGC (Multiple Element Gas Container) and a large trailer specially designed for long-distance, high-capacity gas transportation.

Building on the successful outcomes of this exhibition, Duksan Etherct plans to further flesh out its 'Two-track' global expansion strategy. The strategy involves:

• For short-distance transport markets: Actively responding to demand using its proven flagship product, the Type 1 vessel.

• For long-distance international markets and mobility sectors (e.g., large commercial vehicles like buses and trucks): Preemptively capturing the market with the Type 4 vessel, which is lightweight and flexible under high pressure.

As the company has already obtained mass-production certification for small hydrogen vessels in the European market, its global expansion is expected to accelerate.

Furthermore, CEO Hwang Seok-ju, headquarters executives, and key personnel from the local Chinese subsidiary (NKSH) remained at the booth throughout the entire event. They solidified the company's global presence by directly communicating with global clients and discussing new partnerships.
